Francis Dickoh scores in Midtjylland win

Former Black Stars defender Francis Dickoh got on target for Danish giants FC Midtjylland in their smooth 3-0 win over Naestved in the Danish Cup on Thursday afternoon. The 32-year-old towering center-back headed Midtjylland into the lead with an 8th minute finish before Mikkel Duelund and Nigerian Paul Onuachu scored to seal the win for the title-holders. Dickoh’s goal inspired Midtjylland who won the title last season to push through for another deserving win over the lower-tier side. The former FC Utrecht defender who was capped 13 times by Ghana scored his first goal of the season for Midtjylland who had initially ask the defender to look elsewhere for opportunities. But his goal on Thursday could open gates for more playing time.
